A UX Designer & Researcher from India, now in Singapore.
Currently, I am employed as a Product Design Manager at Visa Worldwide Pte Ltd. where I work for the company’s private cloud and its applications. I research, conceptualise, design and prototype solutions to expand their capacity of efficiency & impact.
My Process
Understand. Interpret. Design. Validate
1. Understand
As a first step towards successful engagement, I start with understanding the requirements from stakeholders, clarifying initial user/ stakeholder assumptions, diving deeper in the project to document goals to ensure everyone resonates with the problem’s context.
2. Interpret
I interpret problems and uncover user pain points using quantitative & qualitative research methods. I strongly empathise with users in all my involvements. Some popular methods include surveys, contextual enquiries & card sorts. Synthesis is done using affinity mapping.
3. Design
After thorough research, I visualize solutions & implement them through my designs. These solutions are smart, scalable that can be easily refined whenever required. I use Figma and sketch for my designs.
4. Validate
Validating design decisions is as important as conducting initial research for a project. I make sure to test the experience with users through usability tests and track performance using analytics to implement a thoroughly tested product/experience.
